Mix the lentil, chopped onions, grated carrots, tomato, salt and boil them with a double lined water in a stewpot. Try to boil it on a medium heat. If you see the water is boiled too much and the mix is too hard you can add some more water. After the lentil melts completely, take the stewpot and blend it very well. There must be one colour of soup. Then in a different stewpot saute the flour, thyme, red pepper and mint in the butter very softly on a low heat about 30 seconds. Don’t burn the seasons.
